Take What They're Giving Cause I'm Working For a Living!!!

Reached Bangalore at wee hours in the morning, long time I saw morning… checked myself into a decent hotel and took a walk, aimlessly, as always, my aimless walks alone in a new place would end up in a restaurant or in a browsing center like this…

I happen to meet this guy in the bus, and he was telling me how he got downsized and is jobless and going to Bangalore for an interview!

So he got downsized. Now he's out there looking for a job. Been there, done that, got the unemployment. I'll be honest; I'm one who thinks that it's not that hard to find a job. I really do believe that. It may be hard to find the exact job you want, but if you've got a little something on the ball and you're willing to work then it just honestly isn't that hard to find a job.

One of the reasons why it isn't that hard is that there are a lot of tools out there to help you find a job. The days of scanning the want ads in the paper are over with. There are some really great tools online to help you find what you're looking for. Whether you're looking for an executive position or if you’re just starting out with an entry level job, there are some great tools out there to help you find the right job for you.

Good Luck Mate!!!

Always Give Your 100% At Work...

My gut feeling is that we've given more than 100% ... no wonder we're overworked and somehow grossly underpaid. ha.. ha ...

One Of Those Days… You Get Paid for Nothing!!!

I am sitting in a room where there is nobody… middle of work, I am training a batch and they ought to take this test for 4 hours facilitated by somebody else…

I got nothing to do…

GRRR... Talk about a complete waste of time.

I've spent the last part of an hour trying to learn how to spin a pencil backwards. Spinning the pencil forwards is no problem, since in my year 11 economics class I was more interested in learning how to do that than work out how to calculate a countries GDP. Even now I still think that was a better use of my time, as I can still spin a pencil, pen, drumstick around my thumb with the greatest of ease, and I've never been asked for my assessment of the India’s gross domestic product.

Though an hour into it and for for some reason, my stupid hands still can't make the bloody pencil spin backwards. The trick is to keep your middle, ring and thumb still whilst getting your index finger to flick the pen around. But when I try it, the index finger starts to flick the pencil, and then all of a sudden all my other fingers spasm and the pencil goes flying. Sometimes across the floor, sometimes hitting the desk, occasionaly hitting my forehead.

GRRR. It's really starting to piss me off. Not only am I wasting time trying to learn how to do this most useless of tricks (who has ever impressed anyone with their pen flicking ability?), but I'm mostly annoyed because I thought I was a bit more dexterous than this.

I am also laying blame at the door of WIKI-HOW . DAMN YOU! Why do you have things on your website that look easy but aren't?

Anyways I always liked one of these rare days when you get paid for nothing... nothing at all!
